These fine White Arkansas Stones are an essential piece of kit for every glass engraver for smoothing, polishing and refining all your glass engravings and carvings. Also for final polishing on Metal, Ceramic and Stone. Also for adding fine texturing in wood carving.
- 2.35mm Shank
- Recommended speed of no more than 10,000RPM
- Pre-polishing for Glass Engraving
- Final Polishing for Metals, Ceramic, Porcelain, Enamel and Stone
With a 2.35mm shank these Arkansas stone burs have a recommended speed of no more than 10,000 RPM. However, it's best to begin with around 5,000RPM drill speed and find your own way with the burs, increasing speed as you go. Use with light pressure. Use dry.
Ideal glass engraving tools for pre-polishing. Use the Arkansas stones on un-engraved areas of your glass or use a green stone then follow with a white Arkansas stone then finally a silicone rubber polisher. Also great for use on metals, ceramics and stone, and for fine texturing in wood carving.
Please wear a dust mask, taking care not to inhale any fumes or dust.
