Small Carbide Ball Burrs (0.5mm - 2.90mm) 2.35mm shank
These precision-made solid tungsten carbide ball burrs are more durable, will cut for longer, and cut cleaner than regular HSS, high speed steel burrs. Ideal for creating micro settings, engraving metal, carving wood, bone and shell, carving plastics, carving wax and for texturing and shaping metals.
With a 2.35mm (3/32") shank and an overall length of 44.5mm, these carbide burr bits can be used in a rotary tool with the correct collet or adjustable chuck (i.e Dremel), pendant motor, flexible shaft, bench press or micro motor.

Will this fit in a drill with a two piece collet that is 1/8"?
These carbide ball burrs have a 3/32" (2.35mm) shank. 1/8" is equal to 3.175mm so if the collet tightens down then yes you will be able to hold these. Otherwise you will need an adjustable chuck (one that tightens and loosens to hold various shank sizes) Depending on the sort of drill you have, most have a chuck available to purchase that will attach to the drill. Dremel for instance have a Dremel Multi Chuck that does the job.
just a quick question would carbide ball burrs be suitable for engraving stainless steel and is there a lubricant that could help with engraving process ?
Yes our carbide burrs work well on stainless steel, you can use a regular cutting fluid or water will work too.
