Description
Drilling Metals:
1. Let the drill do the work and use with very little pressure.
2. Drill intermittently letting the bit cool down for a while, then start drilling again. Keep applying lubricant as this will help to make the drilling smoother and help with any overheating.
If drilling plastic, angle the drill to make the initial cut then return the drill to the upright position and continue drilling. This will avoid skittering across the surface of the material you are drilling.

Will your drill bits fit my drill?
Clare
Our drill bits will fit all rotary drills so long as you have an adjustable collet or chuck with which to hold the shank of our very small drill bits. Sometimes when buying a drill they will come with an adjustable collet but if you find you are in need of one then we supply either a Dremel Multi Chuck (DMC4486) or a Dremel Collet Nut Kit (DCNK4485).
