Mini Rubber Silicone Pin Polishers (Pack of 6)
These Small EVEFLEX Rubber Silicone pin polishers come in sizes 3mm x 23mm (the most popular size) or 1mm x 10mm. They are for use on a variety of non-precious metals, gold, stone, glass and NEM alloys. These abrasives are ideal for polishing difficult to reach areas without the need to use additional paste or compound.
Choose either a Set of 6 assorted grades or a 6 pack of the same grade from:
- Brown: Medium, X-Hard. 400#
- Blue: Extra Coarse for quick removal of material. 500#
- Grey: Coarse. 600#
- Red: Medium for Pre-Polish, removes scratches and leaves a smooth surface. 700#
- Green: Fine for a high shine. 800#
- Fawn: Extra Fine for a super shine. 900#
The 3mm x 23mm set of 6 pins containing 1 of each grade is our most popular combination, allowing you to work your way through the grades of each polisher to achieve the desired finish on your work.
Please note the mandrel is not included.
They fit easily into the EVE Pin Mandrel by unscrewing, inserting the polisher and re-screwing on the uppermost part of the mandrel. Recommended speed of between 10,000 - 15,000RPM. Do not exceed 30,000RPM

Description

The EVEFLEX pins are ideal for use by jewellers, goldsmiths, glass engravers, ceramicists and on all non-precious metals and gold. Recommended speed of between 10,000 - 15,000RPM. Do not exceed 30,000RPM
These cylinder shaped rubber abrasives are thin enough to polish areas with difficult access. They are made from solid silicone abrasive and are best used by working your way through the grades until you've achieved the required finish.

do you know if these polishers would work on a carved egg shell such as emu ?

They would be very suitable to use on carved egg shell. My advice would be to file down the end into a point so you can polish the intricately carved areas.
