Our large diamond needle files will remove material quickly whilst leaving a smooth finish. As with all our diamond files they are ideal for the removal of material and smoothing out pitted and rough areas.
How to use our Large Diamond Files
These diamond files can be used either wet or dry, however, they will last longer when used wet but this is not always practical if you are working on a delicate jewellery piece, clock or watch part. Apply light pressure and let the file glide across the work and you will achieve some amazing results!

"I absolutely love them. My favorite of all is the square shaped. The thing I love about this is the 90 degree corners. If you solder a post onto the back of an earring, for example, the square section will help you get right into that solid joint and clean up both the horizontal and vertical surfaces. It also has a very nice sharp point. I think they are essential for any jeweler's bench. The uniformity of the grit is superb" - Dave Wilson
"Thank you for the help with my cabochon problems Lucy! The large 600 grit diamond file has worked a treat to level off the bottom of my cabochon so it's all ready to set" - Lucylou Designs
"If you buy nothing else, I would definitely recommend the 220 half round one. It's brilliant. Also the triangle shape 600 grit gives you a flat surface but also gives you the sharp corners so these are great for inside tight angles such as inside of corners or boxes, small pierced items and cleaning of tight little solder joints. The 60 degree angles really helps to get close in to those tight areas" - Dave Wilson.
