Testimonials for Eternal Tools

"Magnificent tools for me. They work smoothly, leave a clean hole, are always dependable. I use them to drill holes in crystals. They are the best drill bits I have ever used." Rod

"Diamond drills are the only answer when an operation could be a precision hole for a particular item. Due to the low speed suited for diamond drills there is much more control . So be safe use Eternal Tools diamond drills that do the job for you right everytime." PJcrafts

"I am a glass artist. I need diamond drill pieces to finish off jewellery, clocks, wall panels and anything else that comes my way. I need very small drill bits for fragile work then larger drill bits for drilling holes to hand very large pieces of wall art. I can always achieve the finish I am wanting by using these drill bits, they never let me down. Prompt delivery and affordable." Kathryn

"I am an artist who works with glass, ceramics and stone. I use small bits for tiny little holes to turn my work into jewellery or sculptures. They are very precise and last much longer than any other brand I have used in the past." Karly la Fontaine

"I used a drill bit to drill out the powdery bead release from the beautiful and unique lampwork glass beads I make. People who buy handmade beads rate them more precious if they are cleanly presented and the bit helped me to achieve that standard with ease." Jane Crosby

Diamond wheels have transformed my life. – come into their own when I have an odd shaped tool, challenging on a water stone but a piece of cake on the diamond wheel, which makes a significant improvement to the finish I can get." Charles Harries

"I can’t afford to be without it! Less time sharpening tools and more time turning. Why make life so difficult when this excellent tools can do it in half the time, with the added benefit of a perfect finish every time." Keith Tibbs

"Whether one is in the carbide or steel graver camp sharpening either with this wheel is a cinch and therefore a must have for the busy workshop, any graver can be touched up in an instant and even extensive re-shaping of the tip is only a few minutes work. While you are about it why not get hold of one of the proper 8mm arbors for the wheel too which will save hours making your own." Justin Koullapis – Horological Journal Technical Editor

"The 50mm Diamond Wheel has simply lasted and lasted. The main uses that I have are for gravers and 6mm lathe tools and the finish that can be achieved is remarkable." Mike Cope

"I used the Waller type before but found it time consuming and the results were variable. Eternal Tools diamond wheels give a fast first class result every time." Mark Naylor

"We use carbide turning tools extensively and the sharpening of their cutting edges had proved a problem until we purchased one of Eternal Tools diamond grinding wheels. They cut cleanly, are vibration free which is essential. An excellent cutting edge can be achieved without the use of coolant." Jones & Chambault

"As well as sharpening gravers I use a fine diamond wheel for bevelling glass." Graham Mitchell

"The carbide graver is provided with a comfortable, aluminium handle that doesn’t prevent the user “feeling” the steel cut. Keeps a lovely sharp cutting edge for a long time compared with carbon steel or HSS, plus the finish that can be achieved is excellent. Well worth the money for a quality tool that will last a lifetime." James Lamb

"My expectations for the carbide gravers was high. Eternal Tools gravers meet and exceed these expectations. They cut steel, brass and pivot steel all with equal ease making turning a pleasure rather than a chore." Phillip Denney

"I use my carbide graver for forming clock pivots on blued steel and it is a joy to use. The point of the graver does not chip as carbon steel ones frequently do and I thoroughly recommend them to all in the trade." Ken & Moira Russell

"The amount of material that can be removed while keeping a keen edge is most impressive. I have recently been making some wheel cutters from high carbon steel and find the material is removed as easily as cutting through butter." Dave Hamer

"Before purchasing a sapphire burnisher I used a conventional steel burnisher with good results however the sapphire has always provided a superb finish better than I could ever achieve with the steel." G.M. Cardew

"The sapphire burnisher is magic! I can now make brilliant pivots with little effort. The cap now never comes off the burnisher end of my old combined steel file/burnisher." Terry Hunt

"I use a pivot file/burnisher for reducing the diameter of pivots and burnishing the pivot when the correct diameter has been achieved. A pivot can be refinished in no time. Using this type of tool offers more control and ensures correct shape of the pivot. Suitable for use on straight (gear train) arbor pivots, and balance staffs etc. Simply a great tool for those involved in serious repair and restoration work." Steve Mangham

"I have used my set of 4 diamond files in a number of ways. Re-facing clock pallets – the different shaped diamond files allow you to get in where it would be difficult to reach with a grindstone. Fitting clock and watch glasses – ease it by running a diamond file gently round the edge. Drilling holes in barometer glass to fit centre hand – I sometimes ease the hole using a round diamond file. Repivotting in a clock – I use a diamond file to rough up a piece of blued steel prior to fitting in in the hole. When turning blued steel you can form a glazed surface which is not easy to cut through with a graver. I cut through it with a diamond file." Clive Driscoll

"Diamond Files are my favourite tools because of the large amount of pivot work I do. I can’t imagine getting along without diamond files. I can’t imagine getting along without my diamond wheel either. Good news is I don’t have to do without either." Robert Uhrich

"They offer an accurate way of drilling arbors for re-pivoting that no other drill can. Even the hardest French arbors can be reliably drilled for re-pivoting and these are the hardest arbors normally met with. Carbide spade drills are tougher because of their design, less likely to flex because they are short and the drilling surface is solid across the full width. Easy to sharpen, reliable, top performers and unbeatable value for money." Steve Taylor
